Yahoo! just turned the big 3-0—and yep, we’re officially in our main character era. From your middle school email account to your first fantasy league, we’ve been around for all the internet moments that mattered. And now? We’re throwing it back and leveling up.

Let’s Take It Back to 1994

Picture this: it’s 1994. Low-rise jeans are in, the internet is still a mystery, and two Stanford students, Jerry and David, create “Jerry and David’s Guide to the World Wide Web” (casual). That little website? It became Yahoo. And on March 2, 1995, we officially became Yahoo.com 

Fun fact: “Yahoo” actually stands for “Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle.” Because of course it does.

Fast forward 30 years, and we’re still standing. A little older, a lot bolder.

So, What’s New?

We’re keeping what you loved and remixing it with everything you didn’t know you needed. Think early 2000s internet nostalgia with a 2025 glow-up.

• 📲 A Homepage That Gets You: We’re done with boring. The new Yahoo! feed is curated just for you, with trending boards, aesthetic layouts, and personalized picks. You can even connect your Spotify and TikTok accounts for even more customization. Scroll in style.
• 🚐 Introducing the Yahoo! Café Pop-Up Tour: To celebrate our brand new look, we’re hitting the road with something special: the Yahoo! Café pop-up. We’ll be making stops in Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco. Trust us, you’re going to want to be there.

Here’s what you can expect:

• 🍔 A Yahoo-themed café menu (whatever that means!)
• 💻 Create-your-own Yahoo! Avatar stations
